Jesmonite Gloss Sealer is a high-performance, pure acrylic coating designed to deliver a durable, high-gloss finish across the full Jesmonite product range. Compatible with all Jesmonite composites from AC100 through to AC830, this versatile sealer enhances surface appearance while providing effective protection against water ingress and staining.
Formulated to remain flexible and hard-wearing, Jesmonite Gloss Sealer has been developed in response to demand for a true gloss finish that does not compromise durability. Once applied, it creates a smooth, reflective surface that enhances colour depth and surface definition, making it ideal for decorative, architectural and design-led Jesmonite projects.
The sealer is easy to apply by brush, roller or spray and can be diluted with water to achieve different finish effects and improved adhesion. For optimal performance, a two-coat system is recommended, with the first coat diluted to support bonding and the second applied while the surface remains touch dry. When applied correctly in thin, controlled layers, a small amount of product goes a long way, ensuring excellent coverage and professional results.
Jesmonite Gloss Sealer is suitable for overcoating and long-term maintenance. In normal conditions, treated surfaces typically require reapplication every 6–10 years, although more frequent re-coating may be required where regular cleaning or heavy use occurs. Prior to reapplication, surfaces should always be clean, dry and free from dust or contaminants.
