Description

Jesmonite APW Mould Release Agent is a high-performance, high-quality, universal release wax designed to ensure clean, effortless demoulding across a wide variety of rigid mould materials, including Jesmonite as well as plaster, GRP, metal, wood and glass. Trusted by professionals and hobbyists alike, this versatile release agent helps protect mould surfaces while delivering consistently smooth casting results.

Formulated for use with Jesmonite systems, Jesmonite APW provides excellent release properties on materials such as plaster, Jesmonite, GRP, metal, wood and glass. Its reliable performance makes it ideal for both small-scale projects and production environments, reducing the risk of sticking, surface damage or casting defects.

Beyond mould release, Jesmonite APW is also highly effective on production equipment including scales, worktops and casting tables. When applied correctly, it helps prevent material build-up and makes cleaning quicker and easier, saving time during busy workflows.

For best results, it’s important to note that porous surfaces such as plaster and timber may require sealing prior to application. As with any release agent, carrying out small-scale trials is recommended to ensure suitability for your specific mould material and process.

  • Universal release wax suitable for Jesmonite & many other rigid mould materials
  • Excellent release performance on plaster, GRP, metal, wood & glass
  • Helps achieve clean demoulding & high-quality surface finishes
  • Can be used on production equipment to aid cleaning & maintenance
  • Ideal for workshops, studios & professional casting environments
  • Supplied in a practical 500g size for regular use

Please note that some porous surfaces such as plaster and timber may need to be sealed before release wax is applied, and trial applications should be carried out to ensure that the product is suitable.
