Description

Clearcast Epoxy Deep Pour Resin (up to 50mm) is a premium river table and deep casting epoxy designed for bold pours, crystal clarity and reliable results in art, crafting, decorative and furniture-making projects. Ideal for live edge tables, void fills and casting projects, it allows you to pour up to 50mm in a single layer thanks to its low exotherm formula, helping to reduce overheating and the issues that can come with deeper pours.

Curing optically clear with good UV resistance, this low-viscosity resin flows smoothly around edges and into detail, making it well suited to river channels, knots, cracks and moulds. Add pigments to create dramatic rivers, smoky swirls or vibrant colour blocks - perfect for turning functional furniture into a real statement piece. Once cured, it can be polished to a high-gloss finish for that premium, glass-like look.

For projects deeper than 50mm, simply build height using multiple pours. Cure time will vary depending on ambient temperature and your project setup. The surface beneath your piece can make a difference too: metal bases can reflect heat back into the resin and accelerate curing, which may increase the risk of discolouration, while wooden bases tend to let heat disperse more evenly.

Some experienced users speed curing in a controlled warm environment (around 20 - 24°C), but this should only be done with a solid understanding of how the resin behaves.
