The FSL Value Range General Purpose Polyester Resin is an affordable, multipurpose, pre-accelerated thixotropic polyester resin for GRP boat repairs, fibreglass flat roofing, mould making, fibreglass car and caravan repairs and general laminating. It provides you with a range of benefits, including rapid glass fibre impregnation to ensure strong, smooth laminates for excellent performance in both professional and DIY projects.
Easy to apply with a clever inbuilt colour change mechanism with catalyst addition, the resin will change from pale blue to green prior to a clear translucent final cure. It also features low exotherm which makes this resin ideal for multiple layer laminates and low styrene emissions for a safer and more practical application with reduced odours.
Catalyst Mixing Ratio
Use standard MEKP Organic Peroxide Catalyst added by weight at 2% in cold conditions. In warmer working conditions add 1%. In very cold working conditions add 3% - 4%. Do not exceed 4% catalyst in any circumstances.
