Description

Jesmonite AC730 Retarder is a specialist additive formulated to extend the working time of Jesmonite AC730 materials, giving you greater flexibility and control during casting, moulding and surface finishing jobs. Ideal for larger pours or detailed projects, it allows more time for mixing, pouring and eliminating air bubbles before the material begins to set.

The retarder is added during mixing in small, carefully measured quantities. A typical mixing ratio of 2-10 grams per kilogram of mixed Jesmonite AC730 allows you to fine-tune the setting time according to your project needs. Actual working and setting times may vary depending on ambient temperature and humidity, so controlled testing is recommended before full-scale application.

Specifically developed for Jesmonite AC730, this retarder ensures consistent performance without compromising the final strength or appearance of the cured material when used correctly. It is important to note that retarders are range-specific and this product is not suitable for AC100 - AC300 ranges, which require their own dedicated retarders.

Supplied in a convenient 1kg container, the Jesmonite AC730 Retarder is ideal for professional workshops, studios and serious makers seeking precision and consistency in their Jesmonite projects.

Hi. Can I mixing powder base c100 with normal water ? Thank you
Hello, No unfortunately you cannot mix the AC100 Jesmonite with water. It needs to be mixed with the AC100 Liquid - https://www.fslplymouth.co.uk/jesmonite-ac100/jesmonite-ac100-liquid/?qrso=ac100 Thank you
