Description

Crestomer 1152PA Structural Adhesive is a powerful, pre-accelerated, two-part structural adhesive with excellent adhesion for many structural composite and general-purpose applications. Designed to provide excellent adhesion to FRP laminates, core materials, wood and some metals while improving aesthetic and a better surface finish.

A highly thixotropic structural adhesive based on unsaturated urethane acrylate in a styrene monomer, Crestomer 1152PA can be used for bonding diesel tanks, contour joints in FRP components, to build up damaged areas and to bond “green” FRP. Experience excellent fatigue and impact resistance, non sagging on vertical surfaces as well as reduced styrene emissions.

This adhesive has a working time of 50 minutes with a fixture time of 10 hours and gap filling capabilities between 1- 25mm. High exotherm temperatures do not occur in Crestomer 1152PA, providing an expert finish with no distortion to physical characteristics on substrates.

Recommended substrates: Metals (stainless steel & aluminium), wood (marine ply, balsa) & composites (polyester resin, vinyl ester, epoxy). For more technical information including full substrate details, please see our 'Resources' section.
