Description
Premium RTV Silicone Rubber

Premium Quality RTV Silicone Rubber for Mould Making and General Crafting

Premium Quality RTV Silicone Rubber for Mould Making. This is a high Strength silicone mould making rubber. Formulated for easy mixing by hand. The RTV and Catalyst mix easily and due to the low viscosity can be used without processing in a vacuum chamber. This silicone is suited for the detailed reproduction of figures, art objects and similar items.

Shore A Hardness

The Shore Hardness of this RTV is 35 - 45 which means this silicone when cured will have a soft to medium feel.

Pouring

Add the Catalyst to the Silicone and allow to stand for a few minutes for excess air to release prior to pouring into your project mould. If there is very fine detail and you have no de gassing equipment then you can paint the mixture into very fine detail applying a thin layer of silicone first and manually burst any bubbles that occur. You must then allow the correct cure time to pass prior to de moulding. Please remember that in colder temperatures this time period my need to be extended.
