Description

PRYMAX Extra Tough Polyurethane Pond Sealer is a high-performance, moisture-cured polyurethane coating, specifically formulated for sealing concrete rendered ponds below the waterline as well as a variety of porous substrates. This durable, all-in-one sealer creates a hard-wearing, non-absorbent barrier that helps protect pond structures from water ingress while delivering long-lasting performance in demanding environments.

Supplied as a convenient one-pack system, PRYMAX Pond Sealer is ready to use straight from the container, making application quick and straightforward. Once cured, it provides excellent resistance to water, oils and many common chemicals, helping to reduce maintenance requirements while ensuring a clean, easy-to-maintain surface.

In addition to pond sealing applications, this versatile polyurethane coating can be used for damp proofing internal render, plaster and plasterboard, as well as sealing dusty concrete floors. It can also be applied to internal woodwork and external walls, provided exposed exterior surfaces are overpainted to protect the coating from UV degradation.

For optimum performance, PRYMAX Pond Sealer should be applied in multiple thin coats. Clear systems typically require three coats, while coloured systems use two clear coats followed by two pigmented coats. The fast-drying formulation allows successive coats to be applied when the previous coat is tacky to the touch, helping to minimise project downtime. Once fully cured, the coating delivers outstanding durability and chemical resistance for long-term protection.

Hello. This product is mainly used as a primer/sealer so wouldn't advise it being used as an overcoat.
Can it be applied to stone water fall while fish are still in pond Thank you
Hi Chris. You can use it while the fish are still in the pond but ensure the surface is bone dry prior to application.
Hi, could you advise me if this product is suitable to use on a stone pond waterfall. Many thanks
Hi Ashley. Yes this material can be applied to stone waterfall feature. Apply in a reasonably this coat and allow to dry for up to two hours before allowing water to pass.
