Could you tell me what the approximate coverage would be please ? May Thank Jon
Hi John. The usage is dependant on the surface being coated and whether it is sealed first of not. On sealed ply wood the coverage will be approx 400grm per metre square. Hope this helps
Will the product stick ceramic? (I have a very large plant pot). How long is the mixed product workable? I estimate/guess the surface area of the joint to be about 60 square inches each side. Will I need a filler to ensre proper contact?
Hi Norman. Unfortunately ceramic comes in a few different densities so it would be a trial to see if this would work. Sorry i can't be of any further help.
Team FSL. I’m repairing small section top area of a surfboard and will use Ocean Surfboard Epoxy on 4oz fibreglass weave. Do I need to add stuff like “Additive F” (flow agent) if I am using the Ocean Surfboard Epoxy also as a hot coat - or will the resin + catalyst be OK brushed on assuming mixed as per guidelines? Thanks.
Hi jason. So sorry this has taken so long to answer. You may use the Epoxy on it's own for a hot coat. The only reason you would use any fillers is to do ding repairs or adhesion work. Hope this helps.
Hi, What is the shelf life of ocean epoxy. Regards
Hi Rich. You should get at least a year and a half from our supply. should the resin crystalise then place the whole container in hot water with the lid off for about twenty mins. This will return the resin to a liquid state.
Is this product suitable for repairing a crack/hole in a polypropylene water butt?
Hi Martine. Yes this material is ok for Plastic repairs. Anything major, for example large holes, then you may need to look at plastic repair firms to assist you. Splits and cuts then this is ok.
