Description

Scott Bader's Non-Slip Topcoat is a slip resistant, Isophthalic brush-applied topcoat that creates a non-slip texture when cured, making it ideal for adding a layer of safety to boat decks, walkways and balconies.

Ideal for using anywhere where a non-slip surface is required, the polymer granules are suspended in a clear topcoat for ease of application and have been added to create the special textured surface, improving traction and reducing slipperiness underfoot.

Simply add to your pre-mixed topcoat or apply straight from the tin after adding the catalyst. Mix well making sure the non-slip beads are blended through the whole body of the material before using a roller or brush.

This anti-slip topcoat can be added in a mixing ratio of up to 25% when added into a pre-pigmented pre-made topcoat. The mixing ratio is dependent on how non-slip you want your finished substrate.

Fishing boat decks might have 25% where a non-slip surface is absolutely essential. Balconies may have only 10% where the substrate needs to be kinder to bare feet.

  • Creates a safe, non-slip texture when cured
  • Dries to a tack-free surface
  • Easy application
  • Lloyds approved
  • Ideal for boat decks, walkways & balconies
  • Sizes available: 1kg, 5kg, 10kg, 20kg

IMPORTANT: Catalysts are NOT included with our gelcoats, topcoats or pigments, except where expressly stated.
