Scott Bader’s RAL 6032 Signal Green Crystic GT-600 Polyester Brush Gelcoat is a high performance isophthalic gelcoat designed for fibreglass applications and GRP projects across the marine, building and transport industries. Pre-accelerated and formulated for brush application, this gelcoat is mixed in-house using the advanced GelTint Colour Mixing Machine, delivering excellent intrinsic water and weather resistance alongside even coverage with minimal drainage and low film porosity.
Typically used for general moulding manufacture, gelcoat repairs and GRP applications where a specific colour finish is required, this polyester brush gelcoat offers excellent ease of use and a high quality finish. Approved by Lloyd’s Register of Shipping, it is suitable for a wide range of marine and industrial composite applications. A wide range of colours is available, with custom colour matching also offered for bespoke projects.
Catalyst should be added at 2% using a standard Organic Peroxide MEKP Catalyst Hardener.
Colours shown are for reference ONLY and not to be used to colour match. Please refer to a RAL Colour Chart for colour matching.
IMPORTANT: Catalysts are NOT included with our gelcoats, topcoats or pigments, except where expressly stated. Product should be stored in its original container, under cover, and out of direct sunlight. These must be kept closed and airtight. It is recommended that the storage temperature should be less than 25°C and the product should not be frozen.
Ideally, containers should be opened only immediately prior to use. Material should be used within 5 months from date of production. Unsaturated polyester products release heat when they cure in bulk.
Custom colour matching is also available with a lead time of 5 - 7 working days. Please call us on 01752 658498 for any bespoke enquiries.
