Description

Barretine Group 100% Pure Acetone is a high-purity, industrial-grade solvent formulated for cleaning and degreasing in professional GRP and fibreglass applications such as roofing, boat building and mould making. Containing 100% pure acetone, this powerful cleaner is ideal for maintaining tools, preparing surfaces and removing stubborn contaminants across a wide range of projects.

Specifically suited to GRP roofing, boat building and mould making, pure acetone is highly effective at cleaning laminating brushes, paddle rollers and other fibreglass tools. Its strong degreasing action quickly dissolves resin residue, grease and adhesives, helping to extend the life of your equipment and maintain professional results. It can also be used to clean GRP laminate prior to applying a topcoat, ensuring optimal surface preparation.

Beyond fibreglass applications, this versatile solvent is suitable for removing tough stains, grease and adhesive residues from glass, metal and certain plastics. Its rapid evaporation rate minimises residue, leaving surfaces clean and streak-free.

Available in sizes ranging from 1 litre up to 200 litres, Barretine Pure Acetone is suitable for everything from small DIY jobs to large-scale commercial and industrial use. Please note that larger volumes may require pallet delivery in accordance with Transportation of Dangerous Goods regulations, and additional carriage charges may apply to certain postcodes.

I’m building a guitar as pictured in a local college course. Acetone is used to join the binding and to melt shavings making a goop filler for any problem areas. Ideal stuff, good price, fast delivery
