Crystic 2.8500PA High Quality General Purpose pre-accelerated, thixotropic, orthophthalic Resin. Suitable for Roofing and Boat Building Applications. An excellent lay up / laminating resin.
This resin is used for a wide range of applications including boat building, maintenance and repair and mould making. This resin is also widely used in the construction of fibreglass flat roofing with excellent wet out capability.
Used in conjunction with various weights of Chopped Strand Matting or Woven Fibreglass Cloths where a stronger reinforcement of your project is needed.
This resin also lends itself to many applications including Roofs, Caravans, Boats, Cars, Canoes, Fish Ponds, Surf Boards and Fishing Boxes. A standard MEKP Organic Peroxide Catalyst is added to this resin at a ratio of between 1% and 2% depending on ambient working temperature. As a general rule, the less catalyst used the longer the working time.
